EZ PG3 Tattoo Power Supply Review

The EZ PG3 battery pack connects to any tattoo machines that operate off of RCA cords. It offers 200 minutes of tattoo time with plenty of power. This is our favorite budget power supply option, providing the same power as Critical power supplies for a fraction of the cost.

EZ PG3 - Our Review:

In the past, we’ve exclusively used Critical battery packs. However, the EZ PG3 is a great alternative that’s a fraction of the price. It’s our #1 recommended wireless battery for new artists.

It offers a 5 voltage (perfect for stippling) all the way up to 12 volts (perfect for pushing thick liners and color packing).

Opposite Operating System

The EZ PG3 will feel a bit “backward” when you adjust the voltages. The left button turns the voltage up and the right button turns it down. On most other tattoo power supplies, it is the other way around (right is up and left is down).

High Quality Budget Option

In our experience, most “budget” power supplies have issues being consistent. This is important because you need a constant stream of electricity going into the machine to get consistent fills and solid linework.

However, the EZ PG3 had no issues with this. It was easy to connect to the machine, and can run 5-12V. Which voltage you choose to use depends on what style you’re going to tattoo.

Who the EZ PG3 Tattoo Battery Pack Is (and Isn’t) For:

We highly recommend the EZ PG3 to both new and experienced artists. If you’re looking to change to a new type of power supply after working with a clip cord or RCA cord, this is a great option at a low price point.

It’s also perfect for new tattoo artists who don’t want to invest heavily in a power supply yet.
